Robin de Kruijf was the MVP, Ksenjia Ivanovic was second. Lisa Izquierdo was the top scorer with 15 points.
DSC played very well in the first set and led on the two technical time outs with 8:3 and 16:11. Micheli Tomazela Pissinato injured her right foot.
Fortunately, she wasn’t heavily injured and could get back in the second set with the ankle taped. Without it, her team struggled in the first set from 15:20 to 19:20, but lost.
In the second set DSC had little problems in the start, but later on found their game and won 25:18.
In the third set of DSC marched on and took a rapid 6:1. Also on the two technical time outs the hosts were up 8:4 and 16:12. After that it was tied at 20:20. Two points from Judith Pietersen brought the DSC on the final road to victory and Lisa Izquierdo finished 25:21 after 79 minutes for a 3-0 victory.
