GRE M: This is how it happened! Cepeda could not serve, due to spitting of Aris fans (VIDEO)

by WoV

Shame, shame, shame...

The big Greek derby between Aris and PAOK was interupted in the second set, due to indeed shameful behaviour of Aris fans. They were spitting at PAOK players every time some of them would go on the service line, while the home crowd especially had a pick on two Cuban players – Javier Jimenez and Rolando Cepeda.

Take a look at this video in which you can see that Cepeda could not make a proper serve, as Aris fans kept spitting on him from the stands!

The game continued, but only for a coule more points. When Javier Jimenez went on the service line, he simply left the ball on the floor because Aris fans started spitting on him. The game stopped for the fourth or the fifth time, so the game commisioner and the main referee made a decision that the match will continue only when Aris fans leave the hall…

It eventually happened, while PAOK won the game by 3-1.
