Kifisia-vs-Foinikas
Kifisia and Foinikas did not fail the tradition of the tie-breaks in their mutual encounters as last four ended in this manner. And just like in the first part of the season, Kifisia, who fight for the playoffs spot, prevailed – 3-2 (23-25, 25-15, 23-25, 25-22, 15-12). Interestingly, the things were the other way round last season, Foinikas won both five-setters. The Canadian Taylor Hunt topped Kifisia with 26 points while the Bulgarian Boyan Yordanov made 25 for Foinikas.
In the local derby of the Piraeus region, Olympiacos S.F.P. smashed newcomers Ethnikos O.F.P.F. by a 3-0 with 13 points apiece from Mikko Oivanen and Georgios Petreas and 7 kill blocks from the German Marcus Böhme. The A1 runners-up have 14 of 14 in the league! Giannis Madekas made 10 points for the losing side.
