European champions Novara came back from 1-2 in sets on the road against Scandicci in a big match of Round 5 of the 2019/20 Lega Pallavolo Serie A Femminile regular season: 3-2 (25-19, 20-25, 22-25, 25-20, 18-16).
The home side wasted the opportunity to close the match after making a strong start of the fourth set (6-2). Bulgarian Elitsa Vasileva highlighted for Novara with 26 points. As for Scandicci, Mexican Samantha Bricio top-scored with 21 points, while Enrica Merlo made 74% reception (23 digs, 52% perfect).
