The Italian male volleyball powerhouse Sir Safety Conad Perugia plans significant reconstruction of the roster for the next season.

So far, three players left Perugia when the end of the season was declared: Argentinean Luciano De Cecco (Cucine Lube Civitanova), Croatian Tsimafei Zhukouski (Fakel, Russia), and Serbian Marko Podraščanin (Itas Trentino), while Belgian coach Vital Heynen extended his deal.

Gian Luca Pasini reported in his blog that Perugia have secured the arrival of the Dutch outside hitter Thijs Ter Horst who spent the last season in Consar Ravenna.

In addition to him, the team from the Umbria region will be likely reinforced with an experienced setter Dragan Travica (Kioene Padova) and one more player covering this position, the German Jan Zimmermann (Greenyard Maaseik, Belgium). The latter two are to replace a duo De Cecco – Zhukouski.
