Verona found a replacement for the Frenchman Stéphen Boyer in the NCAA. It’s Mads Kyed Jensen, who joined the squad coached by Radostin Stoytchev from the UCLA Bruins.
A 21-year-old opposite hitter, who until recently played as a setter, has already gained experience with the Danish National Team – in the U19 and in the senior team. Prior to going to the American college, Jensen won two titles and cups each in his home country – all with Gentofte Volley.
