Igor Gorgonzola Novara will be, in the least, the vice-champion of the regular season in the 2021/22 Italian Women’s Volleyball Championship.
Igor Gorgonzola Novara captured success #22 in the regular season of the 2021/22 Serie A. The team coached by Stefano Lavarini downed Bartoccini-Fortinfissi Perugia on the road in a recovery of Round 18 in straight sets, thus, arithmetically sealing 2nd place for the playoffs; the match on Saturday evening with Reale Mutua Fenera Chieri, combined with the result of the match between Volley Bergamo 1991 and Prosecco Doc Imoco Volley Conegliano, will be worth the top-seed.
However, Novara won’t be the master of their own destiny, given that with equal points in the standings with the leader Imoco (which is the current situation) and with the same number of successes obtained, the set coefficient of the latter is and will be better.
Tonight, Turkish Ebrar Karakurt was Novara’s top scorer with 17 points.
