Belluno got rid of Roma in two games and qualified for the final of the Challenge Cup qualifications.
Leonardo Puliti (M.Roma Volley): “I am personally happy with the way both games went, obviously less happy with the fact the team did not qualify. We played decent volleyball, but we faded in the clutch moments of the sets, while Belluno managed to make the difference. The lack of experience of some players has probably cost us. I was a bit tense at the start, you could see it, but thanks to the help of my teammates, things went better and better”.
Oleg Antonov (Sisley Belluno): “This is a strange playoff formula for the Challenge Cup and playing in the Roma arena is getting more and more complicated. We’re at the end of the season and we’re all a bit tired. But it was important to win. Whoever we’ll meet in the final, we’ll prepare as well as possible”
