As the club season nears its start, excitement is reaching a fever pitch. Preseason tournaments and SuperCup competitions are heating up the atmosphere worldwide, setting the stage for the official launch of the new season.
On Saturday, September 21, and Sunday, September 22, the Del Monte SuperCup will kick off the new SuperLega season in Florence’s Palazzo Wanny. The top teams will compete for the first trophy of the year, organized by the Italian Volleyball League.
In the semifinals, Sir Susa Vim Perugia, the Italian champions, will face Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza, followed by a match between Itas Trentino and Vero Volley Monza, last year’s Scudetto finalists. The final will take place on Sunday.
