Twice in the past Sport Director Paolo Salvucci and Potenza had won promotion in the A2 but for financial reasons or others, they had to give up on their rights to take part.
“Now we can finally say the malediction is over – said Salvucci – I will eventually be able to experience the emotions to take part in such a prestigious league. We started to make our moves late on the market as we had to wait for our registration to be complete. But then, we made up for the lost time by keeping 50% of the team that dominated the B1 division and by strengthening every area. The ice on the cake was the signing of spiker Mario Mercorio”.
