Resovia‘s players will regret for the situation in the third set. They had a huge lead (16-11), being on a good way to take the lead in sets. But, somehow, they blew a lead and lost this part of the game.
It seems that head coach of PGE Skra Belchatow Philippe Blain was right, saying that it’s not going to be a good season for Polish volleyball in European competitions.
In every sets, Resovia were pretty much close, creating a big drama at PalaPanini. Unfortunately for Kowal’s side, they couldn’t do it, having a big barrier in front of them – Earvin Ngapeth.
The Frenchman was just the best on the court, finishing the game with 26 points (5 aces), while on the other side Jochen Schops had 19 and Marko Ivovic 16 points.
Modena will play against Lube Civitanova in the Playoff 6!
