Igor Gorgonzola Novara led by Francesca Piccinini crushed Imoco after 87 minutes and in front of 3300 domestic spectators.
During the whole match, Novara dominated although result by the sets were close 25-23, 25-20, 25-21.
Although she wasn’t the best scorer in the team captain Piccinini had 50% in attack (18-9) with only 1 error, 1 block and 56% in reception.Novara in three sets scored also 10 blocks and the American middle Lauren Gibbemeyer dominated with 4 blocks. Tonight, Paola Egonu finished the match with only 14 points.
On the opposite side, Samanta Fabris failed, she didn’t play as before and for sure she missed the team.
