Puerto Rico won the Women’s Challenge Cup which was held in Canada.

In final Puerto Rico defeated the home team with 3-2 (22-25, 25-17, 25-19, 25-27, 15-8) and Daly Santana was the top scorer of the match with 30 points.  Alexa Gray contributed 18 points to Canada’s effort, while Autumn Bailey and Alicia Ogoms scored 10 points each. 

Cuba won the bronze medal match against Trinidad and Tobago (25-18, 25-17, 25-13) while  Nicaragua finished in the fifth place.

Best setter: Raimariely Santos Lamb (Puerto Rico)

Best receiver: Emily Borrell Cruz (Cuba)

Best server: Sulian Matienzo (Cuba)
