The new destination for a 38-year-old Olympic champion from Rio, Evandro, is the Middle East, more specifically – Kuwait Sporting Club.

This summer, Evandro left Sada Cruzeiro Vôlei after four years and 16 trophies won with the club from the Minas Gerais state in Brazil, including two national championships, three national Cups, two national Super Cups, and three South American Championships.

Individually, during that period, he was awarded MVP and Best Server of the Brazilian Championship, and Best Opposite Hitter of the FIVB Club World Championship one-time each.
