The 2020/21 season in Spain in underway but some clubs participating in the Liga Iberdrola didn’t stop transfer activities.

Given that the Ukrainian outside hitter Olya Uglenko is heading to their league rivals CV Sayre CC La Ballena, IBSA CV CCO 7 Palmas found a replacement for her in Peru, more specifically in Deportivo Jaamsa. Sulian Matienzo, the former captain of the Cuba National Team, will sign with the Las Palmas side once all the administrative issues are resolved.

She was to play for the Czech’s VK UP Olomouc along with Regla Gracia – her compatriot and a teammate from Jaamsa – but the transfer wasn’t closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
