“This clash will see two experienced teams in action but nevertheless I think that our guys have got good chances to make it to the next round” says Atom Trefl team captain Izabela Belcik. “Everything is possible in that kind of tournaments and all teams are equally strong and competitive”.
The guys will be under pressure for they did lose to Bulgaria this past summer in the World League but how shall they cope with the stress?
“The players of the Polish national team shall clean up their minds for this belongs to the past. As you play your opponent, you start from scratch and what happened before does not count anymore” Belcik adds. “This means that next to the physical side there is also a psychological preparation that is extremely important. You shall not feel any pressure and be ready to fight until the end. I do believe in our team and I am sure that Poland and Bulgaria will contribute a great Volleyball show tonight at ERGO Arena. And of course I hope that our guys will be the ones leaving the court with a bright smile on their faces in the end”.
