China coach Lang Ping: It was a very good experience for our team, especially the young players. We were able to play a high-level match and show a high level of volleyball to the audience. It was amazing. I want to use this experience for the future, especially for the younger players.
Turkey coach Massimo Barbolini: As I said yesterday, congratulations to the winning team, China, but also congratulations to my players, too, who did a great job. It was good experience and for us it’s important to have this experience. Today, we also learned that it’s not possible to make gifts in the tiebreak at this level. At another level, you give a gift and you might get two back. At this level, you make one gift and the other teams kill you. It was a very enjoyable match with a lot of defence and good attack, so it was a great show of volleyball. And I have to say my team is having an incredible Grand Prix as we are playing with players who don’t have experience at this level.
