As the group is about to start their first campaign in the CEV Volleyball European League next week, the Israeli coach, Zohar BAR NETZER, opted for a line-up whereby he mixed some experienced guys up with young players who need to get more and more experience on the international scene.
ISR M: Israel books spot for second round of European Champs
With around 500 spectators in attendance on Saturday at “Metrowest Sports Palace” in Ra’anana, the home guys of Israel downed Andorra in three straight sets (25-10, 25-17, and 25-21) to back up the away win from last week and advance to the second round of the 2013 CEV Volleyball European Championship coming up this September where they will be playing Belgium, Estonia and the Netherlands.
