SCM “U” Craiova
Craiova, currently fourth in Romanian championship, beat the neighborly Kecskeméti from Hungary with 3-0 (25-21, 25-20, 25-9) in the first leg of 8th Final of CEV Cup.
The best scorer in the winning team was Laurențiu Lică with 20 points. Dávid Csanád was the only with double digits in Kecskeméti (10 pts.).
Spacer’s Toulouse VB justified the roll of the favorite and defeated TV Ingersoll Bühl in straight sets – 3-0 (25-17, 25-22, 25-19). Second leg between those two teams in on December 17.
The team from France was led by Trévor Clévenot (14) and Miroslav Gradinarov (13) while in the German team of Bühl, Mark Plotyczer noted 11 points.
