Shanghai won after a tie-break, with partial 21-25, 25-23, 21-25, 25-20, 15-13. It was led by Zhang Yichan (20) and the Croatian Senna Ušić-Jogunica (15). In Bayi, Liu Yan had 28 while Yuan Xinyue added 20 points.
Zhejiang New Century won the derby against Beijing BAIC Motors as a visitor – 3-1 (18-25, 25-23, 25-22, 25-13) with the major contribution of Li Jing (25) and Yang Zhou (19). In Beijing, Zeng Chunlei collected 19 and Kelsey Robinson 18 points.
Fujian Xia’men Ximengbao won a very important match in its struggle to reach the play-offs. In the triumph versus Bohai Bank Tianjin, Puerto Rican Karina Ocasio scored 15 while the Dutch, Manon Flier, added 12.
In the last match of this round, Jiangsu ECE defeated Liaoning Dalian Jinzhou in straight sets.
