For the first time a led net will be used in a final competition. This project has being developed for over a year and it is part of the FIVB´s investment in innovation to make volleyball a sport even more dynamic and attractive for the whole family.

The net of the game received led lights and it works as a big screen, where images and texts can be displayed. The leds are encapsulated inside a material that cannot be damaged and also do not cause any risk to the players.

When the game is happening the net stays off like any normal volleyball net. During the break it can be turned on and statistics, the name of the player who made a good move, a sponsor message and an encouragement to the crowd can be displayed.
