The conditioning coach of Poland stated for „Polsat Sport“ that the ankle injury of Grzegorz Łomacz is not serious and it’s improving by the hour.

„Everything looks very good. On Wednesday, Grzegorz went back to the hotel in a wheelchair, but already on Thursday moved on his own. For breakfast he went down on his own, receiveng applause from the whole team. Time works in his favor. His health condition looks very good and I believe that in two days he will be ready to play,“  commented the conditioning coach of Poland.

Interestingly, Fabian Drzyzga, the only remained setter in the Polish NT also had a minor injury against Argentina, but remained in the game.

Łomacz sustained injury during the second round of WC against Russia and missed today’s match against Argentina. Poland will play its next game on Saturday versus Iran.
