According to sportowefakty.pl, Tomis Constanta have decided to withdraw drom the CEV Champions League! Romanian champions were forced to make this move, as they are experiencing major financial crisis.
Recall that head coach Martin Stoev has recently left the club, while several important players followed his steps. Therefore, the club’s board decided there is no point playing games against Asseco Resovia away and against Asse-Lennik at home.
Tomis Constanta suffered all 4 defeats so far in the group stage.
