After claiming the previous match played in Varna in straight sets, the Czechs re-asserted their dominance in set 2 mainly via their star Helena Havelkova (25-14) and did so also in set 3 (25-17) where they exploited their physical skills. That story continued also in set 4 with Kristyna Pastulova standing out for the Czech side and claiming the final 25-13 that meant a 3:1 win for the side mentored by Carlo Parisi.
EC W: Czech Republic beat Hungary 3:1 to cement their second place in the standings
The score was very close in the opening set with Julia Milovits drawing level at 15 for the home side and with the support of their fans the local heroines could go for the provisional 1:0 (25-21).
