After two hours of a game, Iran have somehow managed to defeat the hosts, winning the tie-break 25-21. Two coaches Igor Kolakovic (Iran) and Veljko Basic (Montenegro) made a deal to play the tie-break up to 25 points, instead of 15, to test some tactical drills. Also, these two coaches had a debuts on the benches of these two national team.
On the winning side, Manavi had 20 points, Ebadipur added 16 points, while Gholami and Gara ended game with 12 points each.
The top scorer in Montenegro was Aleksandar Minic with 21 points, while Vojin Cacic added 12 and Marko Bojic 10.
These two national teams will meet each other today again at 18:45 (CET) in Budva (Montenegro).
