A 32-year-old Cuban receiver, who can cover the opposite position as well, Rosir Calderón, signed with Volero and came back to the club after six seasons during which she has worn the jerseys of the powerhouses like Eczacıbaşı VitrA İstanbul, Dinamo Krasnodar, and Galatasaray İstanbul.

The Cuban born Calderón, who owns the Russian passport from 2014 but has never made her debut for its national team despite getting the approval from the FIVB, spent the last season on the Japanese side Ageo Medics and French club RC Cannes.
