Club needed one more setter in the team, as Magdalena Gryka has health problems and she might miss the second part of the season.
“Gryka was suffering from arrhythmia. Despite she passed all test, doctors are not excluding possibility that arrhythmia will return in couple of months and we can’t risk to stay with only one player at the position of setter. Transfer window will close soon, so we had to react quickly. We saw Jenna at the pre-season tournament in Montreux. She is the third setter in the USA National Team and we used the fact that she was a free player” said Jacek Grabowski, President of Impel Wroclaw, for the official club’s website.
