Of course that referees cannot always make correct calls, they are humans not machines, but the umpire from the Polish derby Lotos Trefl Gdańsk – Zaksa Kędzierzyn-Koźle simpy had to see this.
Trefl’s players had four touches in one rally, so this oversight from the referee was a huge rules violation. Fortunately for Zaksa, they took the point, but nevertheless, their setter Benjamin Toniutti had to explain to the referee what has just happened.
