After leaving the helm of Proton, where he spent two years, his new team is Yenisey Krasnoyarsk.

Yenisey are currently in the 6th place with an 8-7 score, while his former team has a 0-15 score.

Marichev became the coach of Proton Saratov in October 2017. He was the head coach of the Russian women’s national team (2013-2016) winning two European Championship golds (2013, 2015).

After suffering a defeat at the Olympic Games 2016, he was dismissed. Also, he worked as the head coach of the men’s team of Dinamo Moscow.

Recall that Proton’s player got into a difficult situation a few days ago, since she was deported from Russia
