Kazan is officially interested in the organization of the Champions League Final Four for the 2013/2014 season. Tatarstan authorities led by head of the republic Rustem Minnikhanov support this initiative, but it must also be supported by the Russian Volleyball Federation. Last event held in Russia was CEV Cup Final Four in 2006.
