„Rules of the competition predicted technical loss if some team does not appear at the game. At a time, when clubs are not confident in the safety of their players, they should not be forced to go somewhere. They have the right to choose. The loss of three points or some other fine is not as tragic as other possible consequences. I am confident that our clubs won’t be expelled from the competition. Our clubs have good reason to fear,“ Aleksander Yaremenko, Secretary General of Russia’s VF said about the current situation with Russian clubs and their giving up on departure to Turkey.
