Gamova did not play at the European Olympic Qualifier, as she has just recently recovered from injury.
“I have desire to play at the Olympic Games in Rio. I am ready to play for Russia in general, as I am still an acting athlete. But, for me it is very important that everything is OK with my health. That is necessary in order to reach my best game level. If the coaching staff calls me I will join the national team. I watched the finals of the European Olympic Qualifier and I am very happy for the girls,” said Gamova.
