The Russian volleyball star Tatiana Kosheleva has commented on Alexander Markin case by committing that she used meldonium as well.

I’m giving support to our athletes, because I don’t see any what is the problem with this substance. Honestly, I’m worried about Sasha Markin and about his volleyball career. It will be very said if he misses one or two years, or any period. I’m sorry that some political things affect athletes. In the youth team of Russia, when I was 15 years old, we were given vitamins and meldonium as well. After “Maria Sharapova” case, I learned that it’s become a banned substance. Of course, our doctors stop giving us meldonium because they knew that it was included on a list of banned substance” says Kosheleva.

Honest statement…..
Obviously she doesn’t care much about what medication she is taking (or not taking anymore), Luckily for her Krasnodars doctors obviously were more up to date than dinamo’s…..

Many players just take ehat they have been given. The problem nobody’s aware is that many bad things happen after they finish career and nobody finds the origins in what they have been taking, especially as young athletes… Same thing with Kosheleva now, we’ll see in 10-15 years
