TUR W: Eczacibasi joins “One Billion Rising Campaign” to stop violence on women

Via this action people from all around the world stepped up and dance on Valentine’s Day to stop the violence that an estimated billion of women experience on the planet.

Some 20 minutes before the start of the much awaited game with Vakifbank – where a ticket to the final four of the CEV Volleyball Champions League was at stake – the female spectators were invited to stand up and dance on the stands to join this unique action.

As the game was being broadcast live by NTV Spor, the players of Eczacibasi VitrA entered the court for the official line-up by carrying a banner that showed their intention to actively support the campaign.
