Fenerbahce had a good start in the first set and was leading 6:3. After that Halkbank took the lead and went to the first tehnical time out 6:8. After that it maintained the lead to win the first set 18:25.
It seemed like the guests were going to win in the second as they were leading on both tehnical time outs 5:8, 13:16. Then the home team stepped up and came ahead 21:20. Quickly after that it was 23:20, and Fenerbahce tied the score 25:22.
Fenerbahce started the third set with high morale from the win in the second, and was leading in the fist part, 8:5, 13:8. Halkbank didn’t give up and tied 17:17. After that it was point for point play and with a mistake by the team from the capital, Fenerbahce took the lead 32:30.
Halkbank entered strong in the fourth set and didn’t even look back. 15:25 and the tie-break was ahead.
In the tie break, Halkbank started with a lead 1:4, but Fenerbahce came to a lead on the first tehnical time out 8:7. After that Halkbank again came ahead and closed the game 12:15.
Ivan Miljkovic was the top scorer for Fenerbahce with 24 points, Emre Batur had 20 for Halkbank.
