“We have prepared for this game as thoroughly as possible” says Italian-born Giovanni Guidetti, head coach of Vakifbank. “All players want to fight to retain their title in this competition. Our opponents are extra motivated when they play us and since we have noticed that we try to improve game after game.”
“We just won a game in the national league beating Galatasaray Daikin in straight sets but the most important thing for us at the moment is the game with Dinamo Romprest” adds team captain Gözde Sonsirma Kirdar. “We know we are representing Turkey in this competition and we want to live up to the expectations around us.”
