Marco Aurélio Motta will be the head coach of Eczacibasi VitrA in the 2017/18 season, reports Italian website volleynews.it! If this is actually true, then Motta will return among the Orange crew after a decade, as he was the head coach of Eczacibasi Vitra from 2004 to 2007.
During that period, the Brazilian expert brought 2 national titles to the club’s cupboard and that may be the reason Eczacibasi VitrA management has decided to sign him before other well-known names.
Simply, the club from Istanbul has been waiting for the national title since 2012, which is an awfully long period for the team who holds the record in winning the Turkish Championships (17 titles).
The same source writes that the current head coach of Eczacibasi VitrA Massimo Barbolini will take over the team of Novara.
