Star player Valentina Diouf, a key performer for ŁKS Commercecon Łódź and a two-time Polish championship medalist, has officially confirmed her commitment to the team for the upcoming 2023/2024 season.
Previously, Diouf has added the Italian Super Cup, a Champions League silver, and a CEV Cup silver to her roster of accolades. She was also a significant contributor to ŁKS’s triumph in the 2022/2023 TAURON League, earning 7 MVP awards and placing top in individual rankings. Beyond her Polish successes, Diouf’s impactful performances have been recognized in European cups.
Now she is poised to defend the championship title for ŁKS in the 2023/2024 season, stating her decision to remain was a straightforward one, given her positive relations with the team, staff, fans, and the city itself. Off-season, Diouf intends to focus on personal life and social projects, before returning to full concentration on volleyball.
Going forward, Diouf aims to maintain her excellent form and, alongside her team, possibly achieve more than in the previous season. With the support of the Golden Squirrels, Diouf’s continued association with ŁKS Commercecon Łódź promises an exciting season ahead.
