Ángela Leyva established herself as the main Peruvian Women’s volleyball star despite her young age. Many wonder when she will leave the league in her home country, as she visibly outgrew it, and move to some major championship abroad. Leyva has her answer ready!

“I feel very comfortable in San Martín. I’ve been there for six years and it’s been great. It’s a good team, but I think the moment has come to play outside. I’m ready,” a 20-year-old Peruvian NT and national championship runners-up Universidad de San Martín de Porres member said for “Depor”.

“I have offers from Turkey, Italy, Brazil, Thailand... These are the countries which have the strongest leagues. I need to go to a team that will let me play for the national team. I’m not going for the money, but to raise my level of playing. The Peruvian league has improved a lot, but foreign leagues are more demanding… I hope that by October, things will be clearer on this,” Leyva added.

UPDATE: World Grand Prix will no longer exist under this name!

Nothing to add is just a name, like if tomorrow they decide to put an sponsor to it like BBVA World League of Volleyball or ALLIANZ Super World League, change the name the concept is the same, now change the rules and i will kill u :p Reply
