Misli.com Sultanlar League’s team, Galatasaray HDI Sigorta, announced the appointment of Guillermo Naranjo Hernández as their head coach. The Spanish coach, who recently served at the helm of the German Women’s Bundesliga team SC Potsdam, will lead Galatasaray for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 seasons.
Hernández began his coaching career in 2013 and has had a successful tenure with various teams including Romania’s CSM Târgoviște and Poland’s Enea PTPS Piła. Notably, he won the German Super Cup and the German Cup twice with SC Potsdam.
In addition to his club commitments, Hernández has made significant contributions to national teams. He served with the Greek Women’s National Team from 2018 to 2021, securing a silver medal at the 2018 Mediterranean Games. Since 2022, he has been the head coach of the Romanian Women’s National Team.
