On the third day of the Olympic Qualifiers held in Japan – Argentina, Türkiye, Brazil, and Japan – notched up wins in their respective Pool B matches.

This marked their first win in the qualifiers. While Argentina’s Daniela Bulaich contributed 13 points, Manon Stragier from Belgium stood out, scoring 14 points for her team.
- Türkiye Edges Out Peru: Despite facing resistance, Volleyball Nations League and European champions, Türkiye, edged out Peru in a 3-1 (25-18, 25-27, 25-17, 29-27) contest. Ebrar Karakurt shined for Türkiye with 22 points. Maria Paula Rodriguez, on the Peruvian side, finished close with 20 points.
- Brazil’s Tense Win Over Bulgaria: Brazil clinched their third win in the tournament by defeating Bulgaria in a five-set thriller, finishing 3-2 (25-13, 22-25, 27-29, 25-21, 15-8). Gabi stood tall as the top scorer with 26 points for Brazil, while Bulgaria’s Yordanova scored 19, and both Stoyanova and Miroslava Paskova-Kaneva contributed 13 points each.
- Japan Maintains Perfect Record: The host nation, Japan, recorded their third consecutive straight-set win, putting them atop the pool standings. Japan’s Arisa Inoue was the star player, scoring a match-high 24 points in their 3-0 (25-23, 25-21, 25-13) victory over Puerto Rico. Brittany Abercombie from the Puerto Rican squad managed to score 18 points.
