Barueri extended their own winning streak in the 2020/21 Brazilian Women’s Superliga Banco do Brasil regular season to 5 games.

They beat the state rivals Osasco, whose 5-game winning streak came to an end, in Round 14. The players coached by Zé Roberto prevailed in 4 sets, partially 21-25, 25-21, 25-23, and 25-14, winning their first match against Osasco this season after suffering 4 defeats (3 in the Paulista Championship and one in the first half of the Superliga). Losing today, Osasco missed the opportunity to take over the leadership of the table from Itambé/Minas.

Karina Barbosa top-scored Barueri, who remained in the sixth position in the charts, with 17 points. Nyeme Costa had 88 % reception (17 digs, 59 % excellent), while Diana Duarte made 73 % attack (11/15).

Dentil/Praia Clube and Sesc RJ Flamengo achieved straight-set wins each to settle at third and fourth position in the standings, respectively.
