WCH 2018 W: All six teams are known for Third round

The last two matches of the second round at the FIVB World Championship are still playing but we got the participants of the Final Six.

  

From Pool E the competition will continue The Netherlands, Japan and Serbia while from Pool F Italy, China and USA.

The teams that last dropped out of the competition are Brazil and Russia who lost two sets from their opponents China and Japan.

If Russia had won the match even in 5 sets they would have classified because they would have ended up with same number of victories than us but one more point. So before the last set against China ended USA was not classified

As exciting as it is to see foreigners putting up a show for your fans, it does nothing to help the development of the local talents. And some teams even have Filipino Americans playing as 'locals', while still having the additions of foreign players on the same team as well. Why not just have those Fil American count as the foreigners, so they won't take the space of locals? The Philippines ranks #117, I think you guys should get your act together first. Even North Korea ranks higher, has a NT and program, but no league........and that says a lot. lol Reply
