Italian men’s volleyball team Sir Safety Conad Perugia ‘attack’ Nikola Grbić with all of their weapons.

For some time already, Perugia insist on hiring Grbić as their new head coach for the next season.

Even though Serbian expert has initially said ‘no’ to the ‘Block Devils’, cards have remained on the table, especially after his team, Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle, lost the playoff finals in Poland. However, they remained in contention for one more major trophy – in the CEV Champions League (the final vs Itas Trentino on May 1). A lot in regard to Grbić’s possible arrival to Perugia will depend on this match.

He signed a 2-years contract with Zaksa last year. He won Polish Cup with them, not sure what happened so Zaksa lost the championship. They kicked out Lube and Zenit from the Champions League and have a good chance of becoming European champion although Trentino didn’t win anything this year so this is their last chance.
He started his coaching career with Perugia so everything is possible…

very unprofessional and quite rude behavior from italian journalists, they published (still unconfirmed and up in the air) information about Grbic transferring to Perugia as the teams were moving to the hall before the match. as if there wouldn’t be time for it after the superfinals. and Gino Sirci in the hall asking the coach to come to Perugia just after the game… seriously, why weren’t they so brave to scout contracted coaches/players from russian teams
