The CVA announced that the new season of the women’s Super League will be held in one city, Jiangmen, from November 8 to December 19. The governing body of volleyball in China has chosen the “NBA Bubble” system of putting all teams in an isolated zone in which they will live, train, and play. All games of the 2020/21 season will be conducted behind closed doors.
It’s reported that 13 teams will participate in the league in the new season. The competition is divided into three stages of which the third stage includes semi-finals and finals (both in the best-of-three format) to determine the final ranking. There’s no limit to the number of foreign players in each club, but only two are allowed to play at the same time in the lineup.
