As Belogorie sporting director Taras Khtey stated for BelPressa, in addition to Konstantin Bakun (went to Lokomotiv Novosibirsk), five more players left the club: the setter Sergey Grankin, Ukrainian outside hitter Ian Iereshchenko, libero Nikita Eremin, Bulgarian middle blocker Nikolay Nikolov, and now officially, German opposite Georg Grozer (rumors say he is close to moving to Sada Cruzeiro).
Since both opposites from the 2017/18 roster (Bakun and Grozer) parted ways with Belogorie, the club will have to find their replacements. As Khtey confirmed, one will be Dinamo-LO Leningradskaya oblast player Denis Zemchenok, who agreed to terms with Belogorie. One more reinforcement is close to coming to the club – young Gazprom-Yugra Surgut outside hitter Anton Semyshev.
Recall that Sergey Tetyukhin said goodbye to playing professional volleyball.
