Reigning world champions Kelly Cheng and Sara Hughes are among the four women’s teams competing in the medal rounds of the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Ostrava Elite16 in Czechia. They will face Brazilians Eduarda ‘Duda’ Lisboa and Ana Patrícia Ramos in one semifinal on Sunday. The other semifinal will see Latvia’s Tina Graudina/Anastasija Samoilova against Canada’s Melissa Humana-Paredes/Brandie Wilkerson.
The men’s semifinals follow, featuring USA’s Andy Benesh/Miles Partain versus the Netherlands’ Stefan Boermans/Yorick de Groot, and Norway’s Anders Mol/Christian Sørum against Sweden’s David Åhman/Jonatan Hellvig.
