Russia had a 2-0 lead but afterwards the Canadian team showed a bit of different playing style, reducing the advantage of the opponent.

The tie-break was a real roller coaster.

Let’s start with the first set where we watched a great performance of the Russian team. Their display didn’t leave that much space to Stephane Antiga’s team 25-17. Even in the second set, they had to surrender 25-22.

However, we saw an answer from the Canadian team in the next two sets. Russia looked like a team who needs a confidence boost. Canada took the opportunity to tie the score while Russia were trying to reach their display from the first two sets.

In the tie-break, after many turnarounds, Russia managed to defeat Canada and to stay undefeated at the Hubert Wagner Memorial.

The winner of the tournament will be decided tomorrow at 17:30 CET, when the undefeated teams have scheduled a meeting!
