Fans from 31 countries have bought tickets to VELUX EuroVolley2013. Organization people from Denmark have asked a fan from each country what they are looking forward to the most.

This time Paul Bomert from Germany tells about his expectations.

Why are you coming to VELUX Eurovolley2013?

“Because I just love to play and watch volleyball. I have been to a couple of live games of professional players and it’s simply not the same thing as on TV. It’s so much more – it’s faster and way more spectacular. The game really “comes to life” for me, I want to jump on the field and play with them (not that I could of course). Another thing is watching with all the other fans, cheering the players on. The atmosphere in the arena is simply amazing at such events. I’m really excited about that, because it has been a couple of years since I’ve been to such a big tournament.”

What are you looking forward to the most?

“The games themselves, seeing the players bring out their best game when it’s needed. They train and prepare for such tournaments for a long time and when they actually get to show what they got, it’s just pure fun to watch. I would even say it’s inspiring.”

What do you anticipate the most in Denmark outside of volleyball?

“Seeing Copenhagen. My wife and I have never been to the Danish capital, so we want to see and do as much as we possibly can outside of volleyball.”

Who do you think will win EuroVolley2013?

“Poland of course 🙂 I’m a big fan of the Polish team, having spent the last 10 years watching them grow and get better. I will surely be cheering for them, just like I’m doing on the picture. It’s from the World League Finals in Katowice 2007!”
