“I have been working with this team for 2 months. We already played some friendly matches and I am quite happy with the results we achieved and the performances we have showed there” Vercesi said. “Of course our goal is to win this year’s Champions League but this will take our maximum effort especially since we have many other strong teams that want to achieve the same. We have been working hard to get ready to play the teams that were assigned to our group: Galatasaray Daikin ISTANBUL, Imoco CONEGLIANO and last year’s bronze medallists Unendo Yamamay BUSTO ARSIZIO. The start of this campaign is set for this coming October 22 and I can say that we are ready to embark on this adventure. We will try to catch a good start and from there to build on for the remainder of the season.”

Team captain, Cuban 2008 Olympian Yusidey Silié Frometa added: “All the players included on our group will be doing their best to achieve a good result. Our team has got what it takes to make it to the final stage and win the trophy”.
